Theatrical Concepts Inc. - Hardware Warranty
IMPORTANT: BY USING HARDWARE SUPPLIED BY THEATRICAL CONCEPTS, INC.(“TCI”) YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE THEATRICALCONCEPTS, INC. HARDWARE WARRANTY (“WARRANTY”) AS SET OUT BELOW.
WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. The warranty period is defined as a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase from Theatrical Concepts Inc. based on shipping date from TCI ("Warranty Period").
During the Warranty Period, TCI will repair or replace at its option without charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance to restore to operational condition.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials
Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports.
Damage caused by use with another product.
Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external
cause or similar.
Damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is
not a TCI-authorized service technician.
A Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written
permission of TCI.
Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the
Any system in which any serial number has been defaced or removed from the Product.
TCI does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be error-free.
Shipping of equipment for service or evaluation is not covered under this warranty. Customer
is responsible for all shipping costs to and from a TCI-authorized service facility.
- Service calls to correct the installation of the Covered Product, or to explain the usage of the
Product to the buyer.
IF YOUR PRODUCT IS CAPABLE OF STORING SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION, YOU SHOULD MAKE PERIODIC BACKUP COPIES OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE STORAGE MEDIA TO PROTECT THE CONTENTS AND AS A PRECAUTION AGAINST POSSIBLE OPERATIONAL FAILURES. TCI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA.
Prior to receiving service, TCI may require proof of purchase. You may also be required to provide information designed to assist with the diagnosis of potential issues. Before sending in your system for service you should backup all data contained within the system to be serviced as well as remove all personal or proprietary information and passwords.
DURING WARRANTY SERVICE IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CONTENTS OF THE SYSTEM AND ITS STORAGE MEDIA WILL BE LOST OR REPLACED. TCI IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, SOFTWARE PROGRAMS OR OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED ON SYSTEMS BEING SERVICED.
CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING OR BY OTHER MEANS DELIVERING EQUIPMENT TO BE SERVICED TO A TCI FACILITY OR LOCATION AUTHORIZED BY TCI FOR SERVICE.
If the buyer sends the product via a freight or courier agent we recommend that the buyer insure it and send it return receipt requested. You must be issued an RMA number prior to shipping of products to TCI for service. We accept no liability for products lost or damaged in shipment.
WHAT WE WILL DO TO CORRECT PROBLEMS
You may deliver or ship your product to TCI at our facility (5304 Derry Ave. Ste O. Agoura Hills, CA 91301). We will perform service at our or a designated facility during normal business hours.Once you are notified that service is complete, you or your designated agent will retrieve equipment from our facility.
We will either repair or replace the Product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts at our option to restore the product to operational conditions.
If any portion of this agreement is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
